제주 허벅 천연 가습기
Jeju Heobeok Natural Humidifier

済州ホボック天然加湿器
제주에는 물을 긷는 용기인 허벅이 있다. 제주 허벅의 특색있는 형태와 물을 담던 용도를 활용하여 천연 가습기를 제작하였다. 물 흡수가 용이하도록 제주 허벅의 질감을 전사한 펠트를 이용하였으며, 이는 가습기 이외에 오일을 첨가하여 디퓨저, 인테리어 소품인 화병으로 쓰일 수 있다.
There is a water drawing pot used in Jeju called ‘heobeok’. I developed a natural humidifier inspired from the unique form of Jeju heobeok and its use as a water container. To facilitate thorough water absorption, the felt has been transfer printed to express the texture of a Jeju heobeok. This item can also be added with essential oil to be used as a diffuser, or even a vase as an interior accessory.
水罐，是济州岛民用来接水的容器。利用济州水罐具有特色的外型和接水的特色制成天然加湿器。采用仿济州水罐质地的毡来提升吸水性，除了当作加湿器用以外还能作为扩香和居家装饰花瓶等使用。
済州には水を汲んで運ぶ壷のことをホボックといいます。済州ホボックの独特な形と、水を入れるという用途を活用して天然加湿器を製作しました。水を吸収しやすくするため、済州ホボックの質感をそのまま再現したフェルトを使いました。これは加湿器の用途以外にオイルを添加してディフューザー、インテリア小物の花瓶としても使えます。
